Math teachers deepen their math standards knowledge

Sending a shoutout of strength and admiration to the teachers and leaders still intentional about growing their craft, even at this school year’s end. 

💪🏾 I worked with two groups of teachers and leaders yesterday, coaching and facilitating discussions around the following topics: 

🟢 Aspects of rigor

🟢 Anticipating misconceptions 

🟢 Alignment of standards

🟢 Classroom management strategies (from an asset-based lens)

🟢 Self-reflection on instruction

🟢 Math discourse

🟢 and…and…and…

🏆 The fact that they are fully present and working hard like it’s the first days of school instead of the last deserve acknowledgement. They make my consulting job easy.
