🛑 Bringing our research with the Math Narrative Project to a close is a bittersweet moment. 

☑️We have surfaced Black math students’ voices to raise awareness of their needs. 

☑️We scoured research data to identify and analyze trends. 

☑️We observed math teachers making instructional decisions with the needs of their Black students in mind. 

☑️We planned ways to strengthen their instructional practices so that ultimately all students benefit. 

☑️We reminded our cohort to hashtag#trust the hashtag#mathematicalminds of their students and hashtag#letthemspeak.

I extend gratitude to our powerhouse team assembled by Dionne Aminata, M.S.Ed, MBA, which also included Dr. Nicole Joseph and soon-to-be Dr. Deborah Peart Crayton.
